The NC State Government Internship Program sent out an email yesterday with some remaining openings for the summer. One of them is GIS related, and a couple others are IT related. Deadline to apply is April 21. Here’s the email:

The NC State Government Internship Program is currently accepting applications for Summer 2014 Internships. To learn about program eligibility, how to apply, view internship opportunities and obtain a NC State Government Internship Program application, please visit our website at www.ncyaio.com and click on “Internship Program” and then “How to Apply.”

The following internship opportunities are available:
· #70: Reporting System Design Intern in the Department of Health and Human Services (Raleigh)

· #74: WOW (World of Work) Youth Employment Intern in the Department of Health and Human Services (Raleigh)

· #75: Information Technology Efficiency Study Intern in the Department of Information and Technology Services (Raleigh)

· #88: Enterprise Resource Planning Systems Implementation Project Intern in the Department of Public Safety (Raleigh)

· #92: Web Application Developer Geomatics Toolkit Intern in the Department of Public Safety (Raleigh)

· #95: North Carolina Initiative to Reduce Underage Drinking Intern in the Department of Commerce (Raleigh)

· #96: Husbandry Intern in the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (Pine Knoll Shores)

Internship applications are due on Monday, April 21, 2014 (postmarked). Available projects are listed in the Internship Program Booklet. The internship application in Word and PDF are posted on the website below the Program Booklet.
