NC State University has the following position that you may be interested in:

Title: Food Systems Mapping Specialist

Department: 111501 – Horticultural Science

Posting Number: 20111022TM

The individual hired will use Google Fusion tables to create layered Google maps detailing business entity information across the state, prepare this for display on an existing website, and create an instruction manual that details the means by which data can be added/deleted/amended within the tables and associated map. The individual will work with an existing data set, and the work can be done off site and with flexible hours.

If you are interested in applying for this position, you can apply for the position on NC State University’s employment site at https://jobs.ncsu.edu.

More Information: While this is for a set number of hours for this single project, we have LOTS of mapping needs. If we can find the right person who could work with us over the next year to do mapping, that would be ideal. Note that in the position announcement online, it says “25-30 hours per week.” This is incorrect. It should be 25-30 hours
for the entire project. However, depending on who we find, the time length can be extended. We don’t need someone for that many hours per week, however.

Total of 30 hours of work to be completed within one month of hire. Work to be done remotely.

If you need any other info, please let me know. If someone wants to get in touch with me directly, that is fine too–they can email me: rebecca.dunning9 -@- gmail.com.
