Posted: April 3, 2011 in Uncategorized

The North Carolina Arc Users Group (NCAUG) is pleased to announce the 4th Annual, 2011 NCAUG Student Scholarship Awards application. Now in its fourth year, the NCAUG Student Scholarship Awards support students, who are enrolled full-time in an accredited North Carolina Community College or University pursuing a degree with an emphasis in GIS, with their classes, research, and other GIS-related activities. We are pleased to be able to offer four scholarships for the 2011/2012 academic year, each in the amount of $500. The Awards are split into Undergraduate and Graduate categories in an effort to encourage students at both levels to apply. In addition to the monetary Scholarship award, recipients will receive a discounted registration to the annual NCAUG Fall Conference, and those who wish to present will have a guaranteed slot and will receive a complimentary registration. Official Awards will be presented during the Banquet Dinner at the Fall Conference.

Please see the application for more details; a copy will also be available on our website. Students should find this Scholarship application very easy to complete and submit. Scholarship funds are deposited directly into student accounts. NCAUG is very proud to support students across our state pursuing a career in GIS. Please let your GIS students know of this excellent funding opportunity. For more information, visit http://www.ncaug.com. Thank you for your support!
