The Department of Environmental Sciences within the LSU School of the Coast and Environment is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct research on modeling and measuring community resilience. The position is renewable for three years and is funded by a grant jointly sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the National Science Foundation. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in environmental sciences, geography, political science or related discipline; strong background in GIS, spatial analysis and statistical modeling; skills in web design and programming; written and oral communication and management skills.
