Oracle DBA & GIS w/ Security Clearance

Oracle DBA

Designing Oracle Databases needed.
• Overseeing the maintenance and assisting in database design and changes to include creating databases, triggers, queries and reports.
• Responsible for creating and implementing security policies, conducting daily backups, importing/exporting data to other systems, reporting, and client support.

Background and Experience Required (a): (including education, skills, work activities)

• A solid basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and product deliverables is key
• A strong emphasis is placed on positive interpersonal skills.
• You would need to show strong experience in interfacing with clients, managers and system users.
• Minimum 10 years of Oracle Server Experience (more experience is a plus)
• Experience working with Oracle Standard / Enterprise
• Understanding of Oracle servers
• Experience working in a Windows 2003/2000/XP development environment.
• B.S. Computer Science, Information System, Mathematics, or IT related field. Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Military background and Experience with Special Operations

Security Clearance Required:

• MUST HAVE a Top Secret clearance AND meet the requirements of DCID 6/4

Footnote: if a person doesn’t have GIS the will take a one week paid training.
